Hi all this is Trish's angel writing to let you know she did wonderful through surgery. I went to visit her this afternoon when she got to the room and she was awake, alert and has a very positive attitude. She said "this wasn't bad at all". I met her husband- very nice guy. He is taking such good care of her. She has an NG tube so all she gets to have is ice chips-but boy do those ever taste good!!! She will go for a follow up leak test tomorrow morning and then get the tube out and begin some liquid foods. She is taking it all so well. Please continue to keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery.

Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
