"I weighted 400 lbs and he treated me for venous stasis. I asked him to perform gastric stapling at my insistence, since he did them in residency. I was his first patient in private practice to get stapling. He's been in practice a few years. It was miraculous what happened. I lost 200 lbs!!!!. I dont have diabetes now, my sleep apnea went away, and legs got to normal size. He's since done about 12 open roux n y and 6 laparoscopic stapling since my case two years ago. He was hesitant to do me at first since I was so sick, but I think he's very talented although he doesn't want to be called a bariatric surgeon. He's primarily a general, vascular surgeon first.
The only negative thing was that he looked so young. At 40, he looks like a 25 year old kid.
He was well versed with the risks.
He's very sweet. I think he really care about us since some people in his family are very big.
