I'm sorry to hear about the med problems at the hospital. I hope all is going well for you now. I just had my surgery on 2/21/03 and I'd be interested in seeing how much weight you've lost and hearing about any comments or advice you may have. Take care!

Good Morning Everyone: Lana's angel here: I spoke with Lana last night and she will be checking out of the hospital today and going over to the hotel until Thrusday, when hopefully she will be release to fly home. Lana's been in a lot of pain since her surgery and she couldn't understand it becasue she has a high tolerance to pain, come to find out the pump machine wasn't working and even when it did the medications didn't do anything for Lana, so yesterday she told them this just isn't working so they put her on liquid pain meds and that has done the tirck, she is feeling so much better now. Again Lana thanks you for all your prayers and support.

Good Morning Everyone: Lana's Angel here: I spoke with Lana last night and she is doing extremely well. She said that right after she woke up in recovery, the pain was pretty severe but once they moved her to her room and she could kind of sit up things began to change. She was up and walking a few hours later, she has a great roommate. She wants to say Hi to everyone and again thanks you for your support and prayers. Hugs to you Lana

Hello Everyone: Lana came through her surgery just fine, she was supposed to have surgery at 7:00 am but they didn't start until 9:00 am, the surgery took 3 hours and they did remove Lana's gall bladder. Her surgeon was Dr. Rumsey at Pacific Bariatric's in San Diego, CA. I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and I know Lana is more than grateful for them. I will try and call her later this evening,I'll let you know what she has to say. Thanks again for all your support, all of you are truly Wonderful People.

Lana, congratulations! on the beginning of your new life. And think it began on the day of love! I am praying that God is touching the surgeon and you bringing you through the surgery safely to the other side. Now your new life begins, walk safely into it. Happy Valentines Day! Lisa
