Sandy came through the surgery just fine, although she is in pain! Spoke with Jeff this afternoon and he said her first few words were WHAT have I done, well we all felt that way in the first few hours, but it does get much better. We are praying for Sandy's strenght to endure the painful 24 to 36 hours ahead but it is piece of cake after that God Bless and good luck Sandy. Sharon your angel

Sandy, just 2 more days . I know you are excited and anxious but it is going to be alright.I will be praying for you, mightyly. The first few days are the worst just keep thinking get out of the bed and breathe!!!!! Looking forward to you joining me on the Other side!Love Sharon

Hey Sandra! Congradulations on your surgery date. I'm having my open RNY on June 12, only five short days left. I'm excited, but yet scared to death. But, I have to think positive or I will go crazy. Let's keep in touch and compare notes. Your in my prayers, good luck and God Bless.

Sandra! Good luck to you too! Isn't it frustrating when they keep changing dates? Mine was changed 3 times also.Sooo hoping this is the one!!! Well we don't have too long, and i'm sure you are counting days like i am. Again good luck, and we'll have to keep in touch! Dawn Warnick

Hi Sandra, well, not only do we have our suregery date, and the fact that we are both Iowan's but I am in nursing school right now. I will graduate next summer with my ADN. I wish you the best of luck, I will be in the hospital for 4 days, so when I get out, I will be looking for you and we can exchange stories. Best of luck...
