Mandy how's your weight lost now? I seem to have the same problem you had with slow weight lost and wanted to know did things turn around for you?

Hi Mandy. I am a new post op and I think all heavy people go through this delemma. I am just 5 weeks post op and I am doing very well right now but at any time any one of us can do something to sapatage our progress. I have lost 43 lbs in just 4 weeks. Have you ever had counceling during this process? I am going to have counceling all the way through my progress because I knwo i have sabataged my progress all my life and I hope I will avoid some of this tendency.I began at 516 lbs and at surgery I weighed 453 and now I weigh 410. some times we all do something that maybe we don't see that effects our progress. counceling might help you to see what is wrong and you can fix it and then maybe you can go on down in weight again.Believe me the Tool still works but sometimes it is us that stand in the way. I hope this helps. Sheryl OPEN RNY July 22, 2002 516/453/410/160

<b**ANOTHER ANGEL UPDATE**</b> Hi everyone! I visited Mandy again today at the hospital and she looked great and was in good spirits. She's been getting up a moving around a lot, and already doing laps around the hallways. Tomorrow she'll get liquids, so I'm sure she'll be happy about that! Congratulations to all new post-ops!
