12/3/01 HORAAY!!I'm finally home...stayed 7 days in the hospital...besides the bypass surgery they also removed my gallbladder..had a hernia and also had adhesions from my c-sections...all went fine until I went to the recovery room...I couldnt breathe..They called in my pulmanary doctor to help with my breathing...I didnt get up to my room until 8:00pm..should have been there around 2:30...my friends were pretty scared..I was pretty scared!!But 1 week and 1 day later I'm feeling better each day...Go for my first doctors visit tomorrow...can't wait to see how much I'm down...Also, I want to thank EVERYONE who came to visit and called me..I'm so greatful to have so many wonderful people in my life!!!

Well Stacey..your BIG day is here!!!! I just got the news that you came through surgery with flying colors....minus a pesky gallbladder, & with a belly button repair! I KNEW you'd be fine! Now.....your new life has begun..and I'm soooo happy for you! All things happen for a reason, and we never know the reason till later on...maybe OUR REASONs are just becomming clear now! I wish you a speedy recovery and a new freedom in your life! I'm there if you need anything! Peg

Well.....your date is rapidly approaching, and if your anything like I was....you're SCARED TO DEATH! I'm so glad you made this monumental decision. Lord knows, we've both had enough with feeling bad about ourselves! And...we both know that we're strong...and can survive ANYTHING! Even those pesky men in our lives!!!! I wish you only the best! Only God knows the ins & outs of friendships...and certainly ours is highly unique. But..as they say...when life gives you 'lemons'....WE make LEMONADE!!!! And...don't we both know firsthand about LEMONS & the awful sting they leave behind? Well...since we're both on the path to new & healthier lives...I can't wait for your surgery & your accompanying success!! And then.....girl........we're gonna go out & have a blast!!!! Maybe...we can meet a few good men?????????? Take care...and you are in my prayers now & double time on the day of your surgery. Peg
