Good news! Laurie is going home today! I just talked to her and she sounded wonderful. She is going home with no drains,just the staples. She is going to stay at her mothers for a few days. I am sure she will update here as soon as she gets back home!

Hi this is Colette Warning I am not Lauries "Official" angel but I just thought I would post because I saw her last night. She looked great! She was sitting in a chair with a pillow to her belly! Her spirits were great! Laurie you are an inpseration!!!!!! God bless you and we'll have to get together for and "ounce" of soup!!

Hello! I went to see Laurie in the hospital today. She is doing very well! She passed her leak test today, though she said they were worried that there was a leak. Thankfully there was not! She has been up and moving around and of course has some pain. She was in very good spirits and looked great!

I just spoke to Laurie and her surgery went as planned. She was up sitting in a chair when I called and she sounded excellent! I am going to visit her tomorrow and I will update then. She did mention how much she like the morphine! :)

Laurie, my best wishes for you with your surgery. By now, you are probably done and hopefully resting in la la land! In a few weeks, it will be me!! Take care!

Hi laurie, I know your surgery is coming up on Monday I wanted to wish you well. Your ANGEL Lori and I will be at the suppport group meeting at Good Sam and she though maybe we could go up and see you together. I hope that will be okay. The meeting is tuesday. We'd love to go to the meeting with a great report! God Bless you!
