Hello everyone! I made it to the other side! I am five days post op and feel pretty good! I want to thank everyone who sent well wishes. I especially want to thank my angel Laurie for all of her support! I also want to thank my roommmate Colette and her husband Tom for all of their help and support! Not only have I made this important change in my life, I have make several new friends in the process. One couldn't ask for more than that!

I spoke to Lori this afternoon, and she sounds GREAT!!!!! Her surgery went wonderfully and took about 4 1/2 hours. Her pain is well controlled and her only complaint is 'getting in and out of bed'. She's been the ideal patient and reports that her and her roomie are up doing laps around the floor often! I'm sooooo proud of her!! Send Lori a word of encouragement as I'm sure she has a day or two of 'ochies' ahead of her! I'll be going up to see her tomorrow.... LOVE to have a full page of well wishes to print and take with!

Hello Lori, Just thought I woul let you know that you will be in my prayers. May God watch over you and your family. I pray that you have a uncomplicated surgery and a speedy recovery.. I will be joining you on the "other side" this coming thursday at 8am..
