Monique, I am wishing you a successful, complication free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not doing this several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. Monique, I read your post today and I just wanted to tell you I agree with your decree. "When 2 or more of you agree on earth as touching anything, it shall be done for them of my father, which is in heaven." Amen. Also, just wanted to tell you that your insurance company, UHC, is wonderful. They are my insurance company, as well. They approved me without an appeal of any kind. Praise God.
