"NICE HOSPITAL, A BIT UNDERSTAFFED"

Ted Scott

"I really liked him. He was rather dry but so was my dad (gone since 86) and he even had my dad's hands. (both red heads) Anyway, great surgeon-- i discussed him with several of the hospital staff. I could tell they all had great respect for his abilities and liked him as well. He seems to be really concerned with your after care. He gives a list of things that mite happen that you should call him about and also added "if in doubt as what to do --ALLWAYS call Dr Scott. His office staff are wonderful. The receptionist/office mngr has even had it done herself. We really didnt discuss the risks much. I went there knowing what I wanted (open Rny) he agreed it was the best, told him i had done research and we were pretty much set on go. I had all my preops done today and yesterday (just got home) he even does an EGD beforehand. I hadnt heard that before. Felt good about it in case i do have to have one in the future (endoscopy)I would rate him and his staff 10. I believe his surgical competence is great. I could see where someone might be put off by his bedside manner (or lack of) Like I said before he reminds me of my dad, and I like his dry sense of humor. "
