My only small complaint would be that, because this is such a busy practice, I sometimes feel that I'm imposing on their time when asking questions.
I feel completely safe in Dr. Thayer's hands. While his bedside manner is not exactly warm, there is no question in my mind that he is an excellent surgeon. Since so much of his practice is dedicated to WLS, I know that he will be prepared for any and all scenarios. To me this is much more important than a warm and fuzzy bedside manner.
The whole program, from initial evaluation, surgery risk information and future complication details leaves you well educated. "
