HELLO FELLOW ARIZONIAN, THANK GOD YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY TO THE LOOSING SIDE. I KNOW YOU DIDN'T LIKE THE NURSES TREATING YOU LIKE A CHILD, BUT AT LEAST IT KEPT WALKING ON YOUR MIND. NOW, YOU CAN WALK TO BETTER YOURSELF AT YOUR OWN PACE. A BLESSED AND SPEEDY RECOVERY.

Hello everyone, Suzie here again to update ya on Donna's progress: Just got home from the hospital. Things are looking great! No more IV's or anything to tie her down. She was walking up and down the hall when we got there. She is in NO pain whatsoever. Her spirits are up and she is looking forward to coming home tomorrow. While we were there, her dinner came. It consisted of a cup of bouillon, a bowl of Jell-O and a bottle of water. She ate only half the Jell-O. She says she has absolutely NO appetite. I am sure this will change as soon as all the drugs totally out of her system and she is home and more comfy. The ONLY thing that I can say was a negative, is that she does NOT like the nurses constantly reminding her that she needs to walk. I don't blame her, she did not go through this thing only to not follow through with what is expected of her in order to succeed. However, while we were there, in those three (3) hours the nurses came in SEVEN Times to remind her she needed to walk. She had been walking, they just never saw her. Good grief. I am not one to complain about hospitals, but to me this one complaint is warranted. When they approached her so many times it became aggravating and it seemed to me they were treating her like a 3 year old child. Finally I got sick of it and went to the Charge Nurse and told her that they needed to stop it. I told her that Donna was a grown woman and not a child and that she WAS indeed walking on her own and did not need to be reminded almost every 15 minutes. She promised she would put it in her chart for them to leave her alone. Yeah RIGHT. She was gone after 7:30 and so was the promise. Next thing you know...in comes someone else "YOU KNOW YOU NEED TO WALK DONNA...HAVE YOU WALKED TODAY? HOW LONG AGO?? HOW FAR?? WHEN ARE YOU GOING AGAIN?? On and on and on...BLECH!!! LOL Well enough complaining...she gets to come home tomorrow, YEAH...I'll be taking care of her, she'll be comfy in her own surroundings. Anyways, love to all of you, thanks for your prayers...I'll let you know tomorrow as soon as she gets home!
