YIPEE....got pulmonary clearance today without a sleep study....now if I can do as well with cardiology and psych...maybe we can submit to Cigna...

Consult with Dr. Enochs completed today and now for all of the testing and specialists visits. Dr. Enoch and Tara were wonderful and were very thorough. I know I have chosen the right Dr. for me.

Went to my GI Dr. on 2/11/04, I have a history of a positive liver biopsy....my labs are all perfect and have been for 3 years...I really did not even consider that he might thumbs down the RNY..but when he saw how shocked I was when he did that he has asked for a consult with his peers at Duke. Man, that slapped me in the face. My cardiology visit has been changed to next week...and I am a basket case. If this surgery is God's will..eveything will work itself out.

I just attended the support group meeting and got to meet and talk to Dr. Enochs and Tara...I was so impressed with this group...both pre and post ops were there and they meet once a month...a dietitian was the speaker and included a question and answer time...We then had the chance to talk with both Dr. Enochs and Tara and ask any questions we wanted to. I am already impressed with Dr. Enochs...

My PCP has obtained an appointment with Dr. Enochs on February 19.

January 18,2004 Have an appointment with my Primary Care Physician this afternoon. He is the one who first mentioned this surgery to me,,,Today I am going to talk with him and ask for the referral to see Dr. Paul Enochs...with me luck.
