"Haven't met Dr. Scott yet - but will 10/26. I have attended support group meetings hosted by is program director and she seems very knowledgeable. I would encourage everyone to keep copies of their paperwork. My insurance initially denied me, and the doctors office "trashed" my paperwork . I did all my own appeal work - so now I've got approval - but the doctors office has no paperwork. I would have saved myself some trouble by keeping copies (duh). The program director informed me that they get 20 applications a day and "can't keep 'em all." That's the one thing I wish was different. I can appreciate that he's sought after and a can deduct that he is a good surgeon - but I, as any consumer - prefers the "personal" touch - I don't want to be treated like a number. I'll post more after I meet him."
