"In my WLS research process I checked out two surgeons.. One in Boston and Dr. Bruce Bodner.... The minute I met Dr. Bodner, I knew he was the one... I was impressed by his mannerism, his honesty that he didnt think I would get approved w/ out a fight (thankfully he was wrong! lol) I really enjoyed his bedside manner in the hospital, he was there twice a day like clockwork. The nurses at the hospital said he was a great dr. but a tough dr and knew what he wanted.. so that made me feel good. There was nothing I didnt not like about him. I have sent other people to him who have gone on to have surgery. He stresses aftercare, and follow up visits... He was very open and honest about the surgery, the issues, etc... His supporting staff, nutritionist, etc.. was a quick and effecient process.
