I heard from Rose's husband, Lane. He's is such a supportive husband. He called me right away and let me know Rose's surgery went well. She was in surgery about 4 hrs. and recovery 1 hr. She was in ICU as a precautionary measure due to her history of asthma but was moved to her room without any problems. Thursday Lane called and told me she was in pain and was using a morphine pump, but was doing very well. She was working diligently on her breathing and had been up walking a bit. He expects her to be up and walking a bit more today (Friday) Dennis and I are visiting both Jennifer Manchester who has pneumonia for the 2nd time since surgery, and Rose on Saturday. Rose, we are cheering you on, hon!
