"Dr.Sawicki is an affable,kind, and straightforward personality. I was very nervous prior to my consultation. After my initial exam we proceeded to talk about the surgery. Dr. Sawicki has a sense of humor that puts you at ease very quickly. He answered all of my questions.(2 pages worth) He was very patient and never seemed to be watching the clock.His attention was totally devoted to the moment. He did not mention aftercare, but Joyce spoke to me in length about the support groups and on-line support. Between Dr.Sawicki, Joyce and the nutritionists I received a great introduction into the Bariatric Program at UCLA.
Dr.Sawicki told me that he would not see me before surgery,only the day after.
I can always call him if needed, or any of the bariatric team.
