Well, I made it- I had surgery one week ago today. No complications, the pain was manageable, the hospital staff was good. I was so ready to get out of there. I've stayed with my mom the past few days, but am probably going home tomorrow. It has been a very emotional few days. I've had the thought a lot lately, "oh, God, what have I done." I am told this is normal and will pass. I really hope so. I am able to get around pretty well, so no complaints there. But, I think I'll sign off now since I am getting dizzy. Thanks to everybody for the posts on my surgery page!

Hi Julie, Just a note to wish you well tomorrow on your surgery. I had open RNY 10-31-00 and live in Florence, Ky, but I'm at my sister's home in Gallatin, Tenn. Her name is Lugene Long and she said you were in her fourth grade class and I think she works with your sister now. I sure hope God will be with you this week and I will be remembering you in prayer. Good luck Julie! I am the same day as you. I will be thinking of you. I understand about the feet hurting when shopping. I tried to do some today and I had only been out about an hour and my feet and back were killing me....not next year BABY - we will be running circles around everybody else!!! Take care!!!
