"The hospital does not offer any pre-op or post-op program. The dietary dept. seems clueless on the post-op diet. I overheard the nurses talking about gastric bypass patients being "demanding" ... perhaps because there is no structured care program before, during, or after. There was not a comfortable place to sit outside of the room that had a chair large enough to accomodate most patients."
