"Hello All, Dr Joffe was my BIG LIFE SAVER !!! I had surgery Feb 21, 2000 ...I was 285lbs height of 5'7..I have lost 135lbs within the last 15 mths...walking 6 miles a day. And I'm all smiles now!!! Dr. Joffe, I can only say good things about the man..He was friendly, kind and understanding to all my problems regarding my weight. I still go for check ups and I know that he's pleased at how well I've done. I'd still like to lose another 30lbs, people think I look great but the feeling that I have today is wonderful...I'm on top of the world and I love being healthly!! I was updated on most info regarding VBG...due to people that I have met on this site..thanks to all of them... I have received many e-mails from others regarding surgery and Dr.Joffe...I say he's your man...Looking for a life change to a better and healthier you...you have found it, with him and yourself doing the job.... If you visit the Doc....please tell him Darla says Hi. First impression...Good..and it hasn't changed. Staff within the office,are overly busy..and friendly AfterCareis wonderful...your able to visit or phone for any questions or problems..very helpful He'll tell you upfront regarding the risk and tell you it's only a tool to help...YOUR the ONE having to follow through with it!! But you can do it... Overall...wonderful Bedside manner...he visited me daily the 4 days that I was in the hospital to see how I was doing.
