Claire, I am so glad the surgery is now behind you and recovery is under way. Congratulations!!! And with a "rooting team" like you have, you will fly through your recovery and leave others to eat your dust...I wish you good health, happiness and continued success. I hope I have half the people rooting for me on the 18th of October, as you have had. You are apparently a very "loved woman." What better testament could a person ask for. ANGEL #2 REPORTING again :))) I just talked to Claire this morning by phone, and although she is very sleepy and still experiencing quite a bit of pain, she is doing very well. When I saw her yesterday, she could barely even whisper, and today she answered the phone on the first ring...and not with a whisper either!!! YAY!!! You're on your way, girlfriend! I'll be seeing her again tomorrow, so I'll post another update then. Angel #2 signing off...LOL

OHMYGOD, CLaire. I believe we were both sitting in the waiting room at the same time this am at BTC....why was I thinking your surgery date was tomorrow?!?!?! Were you there with your parents and a guy this am? I arrived at 9:40 ish and there were 4 people sitting near me. I knew that whoever it was was about to have surgery and I wanted to talk to you but I felt shy! Darn....well, best wishes kiddo.

ANGEL #2 REPORTING...LOL :) Claire is so lucky...she has THREE angels! And that's a testament to what a WONDERFUL PERSON she is! OK...enough of that...onto the important stuff. Everyone, welcome our friend Claire to THE OTHER SIDE!!! YAY!!! SHE MADE IT!!! She went into surgery at about 2:45 and was out at about 4:45. I saw her at 6:00 in her room. She was in pain, of course, but resting comfortably (all things considered) and seems to be doing well. According to Dr. Lane, her surgery was uneventful, and she can expect to be running marathons soon...LOL! OK, so he didn't say the part about the marathons, but I thought it sounded good! Hehe! CONGRATULATIONS, Claire!!! We're all so happy for you and SOOOO proud of you!!! Victoria's Secret, here we come!!! WOOHOOOO!!! :))) Who loves ya, baby!?!? *SMOOCH*

I know you're not going to see this until you get on the other side, but...YOU GO, GIRL!!! TODAY'S THE DAY!!! WOOHOOOOOO!!! I think I'm more nervous than you are...LOL! (By the way...I have my first post-op re-check today, so I'll be seeing Claire later on this afternoon. Let's all let her know how proud we are of her and how much we're praying and ROOTING for her!!!) I'm sooooo happy for you, Claire!
