I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author)FROM MY HEART TO YOU ~*~Hugs~*~

It is Oct 1, 2003. I have stayed at 65 lbs loss in 1 l/2 years since my weight loss surgery. I have also had a breast reduction. Ive been happy with the results but will be hapier when I can get my tummy tuck. My husband and son have also lost over 100 lbs each and it hasnt been a year yet. We are all doing real well.

I havnt updated in a long time and filled the page than lost it so Im gonna try again. Ive lost 65 lbs in 7 months is all but Im down to an xl blouse and 12-13 pants size so I guess I need not be unhappy. Also, my husband and son had the surgery in November and are both doing great. My hubby looks great in his new smaller clothes and gone is his high blood pressure and high blood sugar. gone is his 250.00 month medication he was on. My son who drives a truck and does repairs to mobile homes, looks wonderful and can get around a lot better and his knees dont hurt like they did. He loves the fact that he can fill up on so little and is satisfied with his food now and just isnt hungry. It was great having both of their surgerys by the same surgeon and the same hospital on the same day except I was driven bonkers running from preop to postop and the emergency room (my daughter-in-law split her forhead open passing out watching them give my son his iv) I had to take her to the emergency room and try to get her sewed up befor the men were back from surgery. It was real cute to that they put each of them at the farthest end of the l shaped hallway so they had to walk so much farther if they wanted to see how the other one was doing. Ha Ha. God bless everyone....rita parris

This is a 4 month update (really 4 1/2). Ive only lost 54 lbs. but I have lost 4 inches in my bust size, 9 inches off my waist and 6 inches off my hips, so I dont have a lot to complain about. I need to loose 50 lbs more and ll more inches off my waist and 6 more inches off my hips to reach my goal. I hope to loose 8 more inches off my bust with a breast reduction after Im at goal. I feel great and have gone from a 2 to 3X size to a size XL in blouses and a medium or size 16 in pants. My goal is a size 12. Im so excited. Ta Ta everyone.....

Its been quite a while since Ive updated anything. Ive been really depressed with the slow weight loss, but now I seem to have adjusted much better. Its been 6 weeks post op and Ive lost 29 lbs. I will be under 200 lbs with just the loss of 2 more pounds. Ive learned to lower my expectations and be grateful for the little improvements. The difference is once the lb is lost its lost for good. I feel so much better physically. I have started to loose some hair so Ive tried to find some sources of protean. I cant tolerate any protean drinks that Ive tried yet. I have found only one protean bar I can stand and its from Wal Mart. Maybe that will help. I dont get hungry until late afternoon, but my stomach starts to hurt real bad in the morning until I eat something. I dont get drinks down well as they hurt my stomach. The only thing other than water I can tolerate is crystal light powder I mix with water. Its fantastic and is cheaper than the prepared bottles and is not as sweet. I walk 3-4 miles a week. I can start to see a difference in how my clothes fit so it has lifted my spirits up. Also if I can only loose 20 lbs a month, I will be at my goal weight by Christmas of this year. Yea.......

Well, its been 3 weeks post op and Im doing great. Ive lost 2l lbs. I feel great after getting off to what seemed like a slow start. Other than feeling a little tired, Ive had no problems at all. The most exciting thing for me is Ive had no more heart burn since befor the surgery. I suffered with that for so many years, what a wonderful extra benifit to this surgery.
