Brenda Cacucci

"I was very impressed with Dr. Cacucci. (By the way, her name is misspelled on this site). She was informative and helpful and didn't seem rushed at all. That left me with the feeling that I was just as important as any other patient. Had a little trouble with the office staff at first. One person there would promise to do something (fax a copy of an assessment, for instance), then not do it. This happened a couple of times. That person has been replaced, however. She definitely did address the risks of surgery. She handed out a paper with all known risks listed and briefly discussed several of them. Then she allowed me to ask questions. She was patient and competent. I was very comfortable. Surgical competence is a must. I hear from another of her patients that she's very competent. Bedside manner is a plus, but not mandatory. I have more faith in a doctor who treats patients well, but, truth be known, I'd rather have someone who is excellent with a scalpel and a little short on bedside manner than the other way around. Although I have a surgery date, I have only met the doctor once and have not had any classes, so the doc is really about the only person I can comment on. "
