Hi Kelly, My name is Shelly Towe and I had a LAP RNY the same day you had your surgery. I've been concerned with how slow I am losing and I thought I'd share with you that I'm only down 41 pounds. I started at 291. I think we are doing o.k. Everyone loses differently and I have found people on this site who lost slowly and are now at their goal weight. That's encouraging. Anyway, I hoped this helped. Shelly

Kelly, I don't know what the normal bypassed is my doctor bypassed 80cm on my surg wasn't done lap though. Good Luck, Tamara
