"My first impression was very good. My Mom was with me during the consultaion and Dr. Quebbemann explained the pros and cons of each type of WLS to us in a way that was easy to understand. He answered all of our questions honestly and openly in a way that made even my VERY suspicious mother feel confident with my choices for the surgery and the NEW program for WLS.
His office staff, especially Paula, the Program Co-ordinator in the Laguna Office and Debbie the Receptionist have been most helpful answering questions and guiding me through the process. It was my first conversation with Paula that made that all important first impression with me.
Aftercare was very much emphasized. As was the risk of surgery.
So far I would rate Dr. Quebbemann and his staff, Winners of my trust and confidence along with that of a caring and skeptical mother. I/we were also very much impressed with Dr. Engstrom who made us both feel very comfortable during the psych exam. Except for the part when asking about my sex life --- *grin"
