"I met Dr. LePort in B'ham at a seminar and I was very impressed with him. When I finally flew to Ca. for the surgery I was disappointed with not being able to spend more time with him, but he was very nice. His office staff were nice and helpful, I was a bit scared being so far away with no family with me. They were very comforting. I Think he is an extremely good surgeon. Aftercare was a big issue for my insurance company, with me being from Al. I had to get letters from my GP stating that he would take responsibility for my after care. I was given a fair amount of information to take home with me and an 800# to call the office anytime. All the risks were explained very thoroughly with me. On a scale of 1-10 I'd rate Dr. LePort an 8. Surgical competence was better, but everything was a little hectic with me being from out of state. I was there a total of 8 days, 3 before surgery and 4 after."
