William Homan

"I felt a bit uncomfortable at first, and honestly since I just met him once do not feel like I have developed a rapport with him yet. However, I have heard nothing but positive things about him from his team, his patients and other colleagues of mine that know of him (I am a nurse) and his work. Suring our first and only meeting, I was impressed with his openness, and his non-judgemental attitude toward the morbidly obese, and his desire to help people who suffer from this dreaded disease. His office staff was cordial and accomodating. The program is quite detailed and no stone has been left unturned regarding educational preparedness and aftercare issues. I sought a "team approach" fully realizing that this is a life changing event and there is going to be a lot of need for support subsequent to the surgery. Prior to the surgery being scheduled there are alot of hurdles but while they seem overwhelming at first, they were really quite manageable...I used a little notebook to keep track of phonecalls, appts, to do lists, etc. It was my own little bariatric journal...and worked great. Very glad about my decision to have Dr. Homan and his team caring for me!"

"Overall, very satisfied. Could have done a bit better with pain management though. This surgery was quite painful!"
