Well, my pre op did not happen. The doctor canceled on me. I go for my pre op an April rd. Eight days before my surgery. Will keep you posted.

Theresa, I am wishing you a successful, complication-free surgery and a quick, smooth recovery. I had my Open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having had done it several years sooner. It really is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your new, healthier life.

Theresa, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. It is 3/7, only 4 for days till I go for my pre op. Can you tell I am counting the days. I am so excited that every night I come to this site and type or read up on something. There is so much information that I am still learning. Will post an update on Monday night about my pre op visit.
