I got a call from Neweigh today. <b>I am approved</b> WOO HOO....! Now all I have to do is go for an echocardiogram and some blood work. I have that scheduled for tomorrow at Noon. So by next week I should actually have a date.

Kristen - I know exactly what you mean - I agonize over flying! And not because I’m scared – just because I’m embarrassed by my size! My surgery date is September 17th and I was thinking of flying up to Tacoma, Washington to see my brother’s new baby and my other brother’s new house (and visit my mom) but I’ve always flown on Southwest between here and there and just don’t want to hassle with feeling embarrassed about my size! (sigh!) At least Pacific Bariatrics is paying for 2 seats for me when I fly down for my surgery! Good luck to you in your journey for a revision. I'd love to hear about your progress....I have an aunt who had her stomach stapled sometime in the early 70's and has talked to a surgeon who told her she couldn't have WLS again. I think she should research it a little more. God bless you!
