Jean successfully underwent surgery on 9-24. I went up to see her this afternoon and she is doing great. Tomorrow she is going for her leak test and is looking forward to getting to swallow something wet. Our prayers are with her for a speedy recovery!

Leota, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
