Hi Maria, I noticed you had the same doctor as Lauren Young and surgery the next day so I mentioned it to Lauren's friend and angel. She told me, and I can see by the post you two got to meet. It's a long story with a lot of coincidences... Hope you two will be able to stay in touch and give each other support. Maria is doing very well. She is up and walking around. I know this because she had a private room right across from Lauren Young. I am Lauren's angel. I get updates on Lauren, and was told that Maria had her surgery the day after Lauren. Lauren and Maria were "neighbors" up until a few hours ago. They met and became friends. They even had their pictures taken together. Lauren says Maria is VERY NICE. They spent many hours together sharing stories. Lauren was discharged from the hospital this afternoon (Monday, Feb. 19). Good luck to Maria. I'm sure she'll be out of there real soon.
