I am also seeing Dr. Goodman. I hope to be having the procedure done sometime this year I have a date for my nut/phyc on May 4th 2001. I already had my consult. I would also like to know if there are any meetings within our area. I do know that Dr. Goodman has a group that meets every thursday in the bronx at 6:30 for pre and post-ops, but there is a one time fee of $100 dollars. Also, good luck on you new journey. Its good to know that you are doing and feeling so well after your procedure. These postings are my courage, the more positive things I read about, the stonger I get. God Bless.

Hey Everyone, I made it! My surgery went as planned on Monday 2/5, and I came home the afternoon of 2/7. All things considered, I feel great. I did have my gall bladder removed as I had a few stones the doctor said. In terms of the surgery, Dr. Holup told my husband it went great and no complications. I'm drinking 4 oz. of various liquids and thanks to the pain meds, I have very little pain. I just wanted to update you all, and let you know I'll give more details later.

Tracy_ called the hospital trying to check on you, but since I am not family I could not get thru. I am glad to see everything went well. I have been thinking about you and praying for you. Glad to have you on the other side. big hugs!!!
