"I had heard of Dr. Tanaka's mannerisms, so I was prepared or maybe swayed, about my first impression. He was very business like and seemed very compitant, which is what I was looking for. His office staff was very helpful at Pacific Bariatric Office, where I 1st met Dr. Tanaka. From word of mouth I had heard he was one of the best Surgeons in this field. Dr. Tanaka was very much thought of in the hospital and by other Doctors and Medical staff. I learned this during my surgery prep and the kajoling he received in the operating room before I went under anesthesia and after my surgery in my walks around the hospital. He has a very structured aftercare which has been working for me so far, which is a week after surgery on 12-10-01. Dr. Tanaka's surgical competance is absolutely is best attribute but his bedside manner is good. I would rate him as the best of the best."
