"This was my first visit with him. I was very impressed with his knowlegde, compassion and the concern he showed for me and with what he expressed about his other patients. His office staff was very freindly and helpful. He is very honest and straight forwarded. Explains the procedure in detail and how he will handle my surgery and what I am to expect after surgery. I was informed I will be given his beeper number and if I feel anything different (pain, hiccups, etc.) at all after I leave the hospital I am to call him immediately. This is a doctor I feel I can trust. He stresses aftercare big time - told me to expect to being seeing him for 10 years, as he follows his patients closely. At this time all's I can say about this Doctor is I feel safe and comfortable in his hands for WLS. His office has taken care of all the paper work. Everyone I have talked to about Dr. Carter has nothing but great things to say about him. The only negative thing I have heard BUT I have never experienced is that you have to wait for your appiontments BUT then I can say he is very through and doesn't rush your exams or questions or answers."
