Winona Memorial Hospital

"The only complaint I had was the constant use of temporary services that supplied nursing staff for the WLS. These nurses did not get at all what our needs were and someone who was not aware of what their surgery was about could have had some real problems, like bringing big pain meds/pills to take ect. "

James Crossin

"Dr Crossin was wonderful he treated me with dignity and so did his staff. It was the first time I felt that anyone was hearing what I was saying. They seemed very interested in me. There weren't a million people waiting at once for an overbooked overworked surgeon, I must say I liked and appreciated that. They actually called me by my name. They clearly explained their progam as well as their process. Aftercare seemed very good. Dr Crossin very carefully explained the process of surgery that he wanted to take, he listened to me and made sure there was communication and I did understand. Overall it was a very good experience, but the proof is in the puddin as they say. Now that my surgery is finished I will tell you that I would so recommend Dr. Crossin, he was just flat out great. He told me what to expect, and made himself available if I needed anything. I don't have a bad thing to say, everyone that works with this program seemed to do their jobs to their ability and they genuinely care. "
