"My first impression of Dr. Schlesinger after speaking with him, is I have to agree with other comments I have heard in a BTC support group is "his introduction for bariatric surgery sounds like an infomercial". I can understand he has to do this same introduction several times per day 6 days a week, regardless he seems to be an intelligent person, with a goal of helping the overweight person to be able to have control of their life, with bariatric surgery. I did ask Dr. Schlesinger if he had ever been overweight? he said "yes, when he was young" I also asked if he, knowing what he does as a surgeon would he have the surgery himself if needed, he said "yes, he would" I knew right then I was in the right place.
I really liked the patient rep, Traci..at first she talked very fast then slowed down, her story about french fries had me written all over it, among so many other issues. "
