Hi Jennifer, You will do fine! It is natural to be nervous before surgery. I have had two surgeries before, almost had to have a transfusion with the last one, and my doctor was surprised at how I was out of bed on the second day. Hurting, but I was determined to get moving, one step at a time. It is amazing at what the human spirit can do! My wls is the 23rd, and I can't wait. Laproscopic surgeries are so much easier afterward. Not pain free, but better than open. Nowadays, pain is treated like the 5th vital sign. You will do fine. Think positively, take deep breaths and remember, this is a awsome tool that we are about to have. And tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life. I will be thinking about you and will say a prayer for you for no complications and a speedy recovery.God bless you.
