Hi Carolyn, I hope that your doing well. I am back on Remicade. YUCK!! Nothing major going on over here. I have lost about 50 pounds. I am finding that I am at a stand still. You know as well as I do that will change soon. Just a quick hello. Talk to you soon I hope.

Today I am 3 weeks post-op and I am doing great. I feel better every day and I am so thankful that I was able to have the surgery. All the pain is gone and the only time I got sick was when I ate rice. Boy did me and rice not get along. The pain I felt after eating was worse than the pain after surgery. Has anyone else experienced this? I do not know haw much weight I have lost to date. Dr. Nye is very firm about not weighing until you see him. I go back to his office 1 week from today so I will be able to up date then.

.~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.

I am now 2 weeks post-op. I saw Dr. Nye yesterday and he said I am right where I am suppose to be. I have lost 25 pounds and have not had any serious set backs to date. I feel weak and depressed but he said give it 2 more weeks and see if it gets better. He started me on chewable vitamins and an injection of B-12 said it should make a difference. I hope so. Over all I think I'm doing ok. I am still not able to sleep good at night and I have some naussea but he said this to will pass. I think the hardest part for me is not being able to work for 2 more weeks. Staying home all the time and watching TV is not for me. I now walk 1 mile 2x daily and that has helped alot. He also started me on the soft diet yesterday. So I am able to eat a little more of a variaty. Surprising to me I am not really hungry and I have to try hard to remember to eat when I aam suppose to. Who would have thought?
