Amy,I'm so glad you are fighting against bigotry and prejudice against the morbidly obese. Fat jokes are NOT funny!! my mom is blind and i go a little nuts when people talk to me instead of her when she is with me! "shes blind not deaf "i tell them.. so keep up the good work... let me know if you need anything

^j^^j^^j^^^j^^j^^j^GREAT STORY AHEAD^j^^j^^j^^j^^j^<br>This post is mainly for AMY but I thought it was so awesome I wanted everyone to read it. Years ago I met a young girl at my friend's horseback riding stable. Now she is 23 years old. She is very small, 5'2", 102#, so we often talk about how rude people are because of size. She is quite outspoken and is able to stand up for herself. I admire her for that. Her name BTW is Trish. I talk about being on ObesityHelp.com all the time with her. I share some of your stories. Today I was telling her of the waitress' comments to you, Amy. She had tears in her eyes. She said, "That breaks my heart." Then her adrenaline kicked in and she said, "No way! I would have said to that waitress, 'We'll see if I am going to eat that or not. I want your manger NOW, B****!'" Then she asked to see the website so she could read some posts. I was already connected and the mesaage board was up. I had not told Trish a name to go with the story. When the window opened one of your posts was up, Amy along with your picture. Your picture was the first thing that caught Trish's eye. She said, "Man, is she pretty!!!" I told her how ironic it was because this is the girl that had the hard time at the restaurant with that waitress. So see, Amy, there is hope for you, you can lose weight and you will still be beautiful. That waitress is just plain ignorant and there is no help for that. I hope this puts a smile on your face today!! God bless you, AMY. PEACE

Dear Amy.....I'm so glad you are fighting against bigotry and prejudice against the morbidly obese. Fat jokes won't be so funny anymore cause it will be very expensive! It was disgusting that people think they can humiliate another human being and the children with them and think they will somehow get away with it. Not anymore. No more doormats to step on. HELP OTHERS BE AS STRONG AS YOU WERE! Your follow up at the restaurant shows that obesty is NOT an acceptable form of discrimination anymore. You alos taught your kids and their cousins tht is is WRONG to discriminate. Fighting back and teaching our younger generation will truely make this world a better place our fellow AMOS family.
