I cannot begin to thank everyone who posted well wishes and have kept me in your prayers. They worked. I had surgery Monday and came home on Wednesday. I could not have been more pleased with my surgeon and Magee-Women's hospital. Naturally, I am still very weak, but am the most grateful person in the whole world. I just keeping looking forward. God Bless and thanks to all of you.

Martha, I am wishing you a safe, complication-free surgery and a quick, smooth recovery. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and have absolutely NO regrets. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that its the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life!

I got up out of bed and was feeling a bit anxious until I read the encouraging messages on "my card." My spirit is starting to remember how very blessed I am to have so much support. I wish to thank all of you for your prayers and comfort.
