"Receiving my pain medication when I needed it was great. The only bad experience I had was when I asked for a shot right before the nurse went off duty. She gave it so fast that it made me dizzy and nauseated. The nurse that came on duty next said that is what happened. I rang my call bell and no one answered it for at least half an hour. I finally had my daughter turn it off and I said "well I'll just pop one of these heart monitors off "........no one came ever. My IV ran out and the machine beeped for so long I rolled it out in the hallway to finally get someones attention to stop the noise. The hallway lights stayed on all night and it was very noisy. It was not a very restful place to be after surgery. "

"My response to receive my pain medication was good except for the time the nurse was about to end her shift and I needed a pain shot. She gave it to me so fast I was dizzy and felt nausated for a while. That was the only thing that would have gave me that reaction according to the next nurse on duty, The bright lights in the hall stayed on all night and it was very noisy."

Alan Posner

"April 22,2004 I had my 1st consult today with Dr. Posner. I thought he was down to earth and honest about the surgery. I had lots of things to say but he had 98% of them covered without my even asking. He said he will do my surgery, so after my eval and the insurance co. approving.....I'll be on my way to the losing healthier side of life. I'm 100% ready to take the journey. "
