Angel Update on Amy!!! Just saw her today and though she was in bed and in pain, her spirits were up and she was looking forward to going home....first words out of her mouth...."When will I feel human again?!" LOL..Give yourself a few weeks Amy and you will be well on the way to a painfree time. She is doing fine and even though she was on O2 she is healthy and there were no complications. HUGS Amy, you did it!

I all. Just talked to Amy and she is doing much better and goes home Sunday. WooHoo. All of her tubes are out and she is drinking water. Starts on full fluids later today. Her incision is wonderful, she says. Only on oxygen occasionally and is working the spirometer to strengthen the lungs. She sounds so more relaxed and relieved. I'll talk to her again tomorrow. Congrats Amy!!! You are doing great.

Hey Ames! I called Wednesday night to see how you and Leanne were. Talked to Leanne's husband and he said you were both doing well. I can't wait until you're home and can come back to the Big Losers group! We're meeting this Sunday and will probably have an interim meeting before August 19. Be well, my friend, and I'm glad you're on the other side! Love, Julie xoxo

******* ANGEL UPDATE ******* Spoke to Amy today. She is still feeling very tired and is having a little problem breathing. They have her on oxygen for now. Everyone, please lift up some prayers for our Amy. Hopefully tomorrow she will be doing better. At the time I spoke to her, she had not had her leak test yet, but they are letting her have some ice chips. Said her throat is sore from the NG tube coming out. Will update again tomorrow. Luv ya, Amy.
