Angel signing off.....I'm writing this from Julie's house as we just got here from Cardston. She took the trip very well with the help of nice Darvon pills..lol.
She's sitting with her dogs and trying to relax. I've got a 3 hour trip home, but it was a pleasure to take this special lady home.
HUGS Julie, you did it!!! Finally a post op and the healing and losing will begin. Thank you to everyone for the well wishes, supportive phone calls, and prayers. She appreciates them all.
Hugs,

Hi Julie and welcome to the other side! I am only a week post so I know you will be forced to take it pretty slowly. Drink whatever you can and make sure you have a good supply of SF popsicles around ;) You are in my prayers for a speedy recovery! Godspeed...

Angel Update: I had the chance to visit Julie in the hospital today and when I got there she was walking the halls in a very upright position!!! She did say that the binder makes a big difference, and it does hold in that apron nicely.
She's got all her drains and extra tubes out as well as the morphine pump and IV. We were able to visit a half hour before she got too sleepy to continue. We're hoping she can go home tomorrow when I will drive her the 3 hours to Calgary. Let's hope she get's some GOOD pain medication for the trip. HUGS,

Angel Update--Just talked to Julie and I'm happy to report she's in good spirits and walking around her room. Her bladder is being uncooperative so she had to be cath'ed, but other than that her only complaint is the sore throat from intubation. That spirometer is getting a good workout as well.
I go to see her tomorrow as well as the others' who had surgery this week.
She wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers. They helped alot.
HUGS,

Best wishes to you for a complication free procedure, a speedy recovery, successful weight loss, and life long good health and happiness!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers!!!

Angel Update!!! Julie made it through surgery and is out of recovery and into her own bed. She's pressing her pain pump faithfully and deep breathing when prompted by the nurses. Surgery went without complications that I know of. Way to go Julie!!! You're on the losing side now! Love,
