Hi everyone. Michael just got home tonight from the hospital. He is very glad to be home and very tired. He did really well during surgery and has worked hard to make it home this soon. Michael's surgery was supposed to be laproscopic, but towards the end of surgery, when the Dr. was making the final attachment of the intestine, the blood supply to the intestine was too low. He ended up having an open RNY, which will slow his recovery time some. April is glad to have him home after a nail-biting 6-1/2 hr. surgery.
