Jody, We are having surgery the same day by the same surgeon!! My original date was 5/30/02 and they just moved it to 6/04 and I found you on my date. I think you have posted a comment to my page before. I hope all goes well for you and maybe we will be running into each other as we walk the halls!!

Hi Jody! Wow, only one month to go!!! You know I have spent alot of time researching wls and I believe that the benefits are absolutely remarkable in many ways. I hear what you mean about your knees...can you imagine how they would be in another ten years...ouch!!! I have tried so many diets and exercise programs in my life, only to lose a little and regain alot! I am so grateful for this chance to regain my health and well-being! Right now I feel like I am about 70 years old...this sounds dumb, but I can't wait until I can be able to walk upstairs again with out being short of breath and having my lower back hurt. I think that when we make a decision to do something like this, we have done alot of soul searching and somehow have made a committment to make some drastic lifestyle changes... We deserve to be the best we can be and we will. Congratulations on your decision and committment for a better life... I'm right there with you!!! Sandy

Jody, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely.
