"I've only met with Dr. Kane Jr. once, and he was nice - not overwhelmingly friendly or super-personable, but nice. He eased my mind because everything seemed so "routine" for him and came across as very confident, in a good way. He definitely did explain all the risks thoroughly and wanted to be 100% sure I was making the right decision in doing this, which I appreciated. I love how they have their program set up - dealing with Weight For Life for insurance, classes, support groups, dr. apts., etc, was a blessing and a breeze, and the pre and post op care are very structured, providing much info. I'm sure he will be more personable when I have the surgery - I couldn't get much from 1 visit and going to his seminar. I actually will be dealing with my endocrinologist mostly, being a Type 1 diabetic for 17 years.
Ok, now a post-op, Dr. Kane couldn't be more sweet or supportive! He's great! He was the last one I remember seeing before going under, and I remember him completely easing all my fears and taking away all my anxiety -definitely a huge comfort. Thanks Dr. Kane!"
