"Dr. Easterly was recommended by my surgeons office to aquire the psych. eval. Not covered by insurance so paid 175.00 out of pocket. He was a good listener but basically there to get more on paper for medical need and to remind me of the dangers of surgery and the emotional issues that I will have to deal with by losing food for a friend. Overall very good and recommended. I may even see him post-op as he recommended."
"Dr. Tina has been my PCP since 1998. I have discussed the WLS option with her off and on for a couple of years and she supports my decision. She wrote a LOMN within 24 hours of me requesting it. She is caring and is very good about listening to me when I have physical or emotional issue. She treats my like my mother would if she were a doctor. Highly recommended!!"
"Dr. Mayberry seemed to be support the idea of WLS. I was very comfortable talking to her and felt that she truly did have my best interests at heart."
"First Impression: Young for a surgeon but very professional and understanding of his patients.
My opinion has not changed over time, and the more people I talk to who have also had him for a surgeon have had nothing but good to say about him.
Office staff is wonderful with the exception of one that didn't feel was extremely helpful which I won't name. The woman who handles the claims and scheduling is Robin and SHE ROCKS! She has been so patient with all the calls that I have made and is very prompt about returning phone calls.
After care is handled by Dr. Waldreps partner Dr. Suh who I believe will also be present during surgery.
The risks of surgery are a reality and neither doctor try to sugar coat it. This doctor and his staff emphasize the importance to treat WLS as a tool and not quick fix.
There is a structured after care program.
I have nothing to compare him to since I am going with the first surgeon that I "interviewed" but I would give Dr. Waldrep, Dr. Suh both 10's and the office staff a 9."
