Congraulation's - I pray that your surgery is uneventful and your recovery is speedy. Life is too short to spend your days wondering on shoulda coulda wouldas people. If there are things in life that you want to do or have always dreamed of doing JUST DO IT! Go for it. You will never know what coulda happened if you don't try. Find the strength within yourself to step out of the box and do the things you have always dreamed about. Be creative. Be unique. Do something safe, but outrageous. You deserve it. Good Luck!!!

Jean: I do not know where you got your information for being "too old" to undergo WLS. I am so greatful and excited on the upcoming surgery I have scheduled for 07/23/03. I will be undergoing removal of my gallbladder and laparoscopic RNY. I am 56 years old and a grandmother. If you have the opportunity to have the surgery, by all means go for it!
