CRYSTAL~~I HOPE YOUR SURGERY GETS RESCHEDULED SOON~~ Remember that everything happens for a reason~~So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable

girl you're going to be just fine. Remeber what it's like starting a new job? you have no clue what you are supposed to be doing, then when you find out, you don't know how you are supposed to get it all done, but you do. You learn, you cope. You are gonna do great!!! I should have my surgery date by the end of the week, I have been freaking out ever since I got approved!!!! I have to keep telling myself this is the best thing I can do for myself, and I will do whatever it takes to be successful. You will to.

Hi Crystal. Your worries prior to this major step are completely normal! (I wanted to run when I was sitting in pre-op waiting to be taken in to the OR!) A friend of mine said this one thing to me, "Just surrender!" You will eventually get to the point where everything you eat and do feel completely "normal" and you have to stop and remind yourself that you did indeed have this procedure! It is soooo wonderful- the changes you will see and feel will make you want to scream out to everyone with this terrible disease of morbid obesity....just do it! The quality of your life is sooo compromised when MO as is the length. I have read about sooo many people that were waiting to be approved or just not sure about having the surgery that ended up having a heart attack, etc. Feel proud that you are taking a very brave step to improve yourself and the quality of what you are able to give to those you love...... Best wishes to you and if you have any questions, pls feel free to send me and email - see my profile - Deanna Z (-104/25wks) wls 9/3/02
