Hi Sis - I would like to see you update your photo. I do NOT recognize that lady in the picture and 50 lbs it sure worth recognizing! I have read all of the postings and I am very proud of Suzie. She has done a wonderful job of describing your journey. It was so wonderful to talk to you today and hear my REAL sister in there. The joy in your voice was not pretend today and I am so grateful to know you are going to be around a long, long time. We all depend on your wisdom, your positive energy, and perspective and courage. You are the glue of our family, sister dear. That is so awesome in less than 3 months. No one deserves good things more than you - this is your turn! Much love from your little sister.

Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 87 pounds!!! Good luck!

I really appreciate your message, and I'm so happy for your mom, this surgery is a life changing thing. When I think about where I was one year ago, at 265 lbs., on blood pressure medications and depressed, I can't believe where I am now. It's a miracle, and I know your mom will see the same thing as the months go by. I'll be praying for you!!
